How do I choose the right flexible hose?
There are 2 possibilities with the pipe cleaning hoses, the 704G and the 721G. There is a big difference between the hoses and it is therefore important to know which one is better for you.
This is the light hose. That is why this hose is also easier to handle for the operator. Equipped with a durable galvanized core, this shaft is also very strong and has a long service life. It is also heat resistant to a temperature of 140 degrees Celsius.
When to use: The 704G flexible hose is recommended for light soiling in pipes where there is not too much torsion. Because this is a lighter hose, the core is also smaller. And in general, the narrower the core, the less torsion the hose can have. Therefore we always recommend a 4 and 10 wire spider brush and not an 18 wire brush.
Length: We recommend this hose up to a maximum length of 10 - 13 meters. Then it remains the best to use and the risk of torsional span is the lowest.
This is the heavier hose, it is used 8 times out of 10 for pipe cleaning. Equipped with a durable galvanized core, this shaft is also very strong and has a long service life. It is also heat resistant to a temperature of 140 degrees Celsius.
Because this hose has a considerably thicker core than the 704G, it can also have much more torsion. This also allows heavier cleaning tools to be used on this flexible hose.
When to use: we recommend this hose to our customers 8 times out of 10, because it always does its job and has minimal risk of torsional span. Which is not only good for the equipment, but also reassures the operator.
Length: this hose is usually advised to be used up to lengths of 15 metres. After this it becomes practically difficult to act, because of the weight. Maximum length possible is 18.3 metres.
