Drilling open blocked tubes PSM-500

One of our customers from the industrial cleaning & maintenance sector has cleaned a heavily contaminated heat exchanger with the PSM-500 air powered tube cleaning drill. At the time of arrival, more than 50% of all tubes were completely closed/blocked. That was the main reason that the customer initially opted for drilling open the tubes. By combining a drill bit with an internal water flush, loosened contamination is also flushed directly out of the tubes.

After the tubes were opened, special SGB brushes were used to remove the residual contamination that was still present on the tube walls. Due to the combination of drilling and mechanical brushing, the customer was able to open all tubes and make the heat exchanger ready for use again.
