Dry Tube Cleaning
Tube cleaning without water
Goodway Benelux supplies innovative equipment and accessories for dry tube cleaning of boiler fire tubes, production-, and transport tubes in various industries. Due to the various applications and variations, Goodway Benelux offers 2 different solutions:
- Tube cleaning for tube inner diameters between 30-90 millimeters (boiler tube cleaning)
- Tube cleaning for tube inner diameters between 90-400 millimeters
These tube cleaning systems do not use water, so that cleaning can be carried out completely dry. The rotating brush or tool loosens the deposits from the tube wall. To actually remove the deposits from the pipe or tube, a vacuum extraction is required. Most production locations have a central vacuum system that can be used for this. Goodway Benelux supplies a wet/dry vacuum for boiler fire tube cleaning.
Boiler tube cleaning 30-90 millimeters
Goodway Benelux dry tube cleaning systems for tube diameters between 30-90 millimeters are mainly used to clean boiler fire tubes. A rotating brush or cleaning tool removes deposits by creating friction because it rotates at high speed within the tube. This makes it possible to clean both preventively and reactively. Some examples of common applications:
- Soot and scale deposits in boiler fire tubes
- Suitable for soft to medium deposits in fire tubes
- Suitable for hard deposits and blockages in fire tubes
Tube cleaning 90-400 millimeters
Goodway Benelux dry tube cleaning systems are widely used at food and non-food production locations. The solutions for tube diameters between 90-400 millimeters are most effective with soft to medium, dry deposits. A rotating brush or cleaning tool removes deposits by creating friction because it rotates at high speed within the tube. If the fouling is greasy or wet, cleaning with rotating brushes will have little effect. Some examples of common applications:
- Dried flour powder in production piping
- Production residues in transport tubes
- (Hard) milk powder in tubes
- General fouling that reduces flow in vacuum lines
