The Goodway AWT-100 tube cleaning system has been developed for the cleaning of heat exchangers tubes and various types of piping easily and quickly. The system is equipped with a robust air powered motor with a maximum power of 2 HP. The AWT-100 has a speed and torque control, allowing the operator to optimally set the speed and torque settings based on the application. The AWT-100 is Goodway's lightest and most compact tube cleaning system with a weight of only 13 KG. That is why this device is also very popular in the maritime industry, where it is often used for cleaning boiler fire tubes. The system can be used with or without water.
Applications and usage
The AWT-100 tube cleaning system is designed to remove light, medium, and hard type deposits from heat exchanger tubes and various types of pipes. Think of: sludge, mud, soot, ash, and scale. The system can be used for different tube diameters, usually from about 14-15 millimeters and up. The AWT-100 is especially interesting for the following systems/installations:
- Shell and tube heat exchangers
