Sales Representative/Support

Goodway Benelux is a supplier of innovative maintenance equipment and solutions for cooling and heating systems in various industries (including cruise and container ships, power plants, petrochemical factories, food industry, etc.). Our goal as a company is to 5X our revenue over the next 5-10 years and further exploit the potential within the European market. To achieve this, an expansion of our team is necessary. This first step will be to strengthen our sales team.


What will you be doing:
To complement our current sales team, we are looking for a Sales Representative/Support. We are looking for someone who is versatile in various areas and aspects within the company, and will be actively working from our office in Werkendam, Netherlands. A few examples of the job responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and assisting, redirecting to colleagues when necessary.
  • Being the first point of contact for incoming email traffic and handling and processing incoming quotes, orders, etc.
  • Collaborating with the logistics team to neatly finalize ongoing orders and projects.
  • Providing support to various departments in projects or regular tasks.
  • Assisting customers and leads, preparing quotes, and providing advice (with sufficient knowledge and experience).
  • Various facility-related tasks in and around the company, such as organizing team outings, travel arrangements, hotels, flights, ordering various peripheral products, and so on.
  • Managing and handling various tasks related to Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E), Emergency Response (BHV), and more.


What we expect from you:
Goodway Benelux consists of a young, dynamic, small team. There is a lot of motivation and drive among the current team members to further grow the company and capitalize on its potential in the market. A certain (business) drive and results-oriented mindset are therefore required. Full-time work experience (sales-related) is not a must but is definitely a plus. Working in a small team means that every employee matters, takes on a diverse range of tasks, and can handle projects both collaboratively and independently. Lastly, complete professional communication skills in Dutch and English are required, as we conduct international business (within Europe).


What we are looking for in you:

  • Someone who fits well into a young, small, ambitious team and can work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A certain drive to be part of a (rapidly) growing company (and, of course, to contribute to this growth).
  • Completed MBO or HBO education.
  • Flexible and proactive work attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with great precision.
  • Full-time position of 36-40 hours per week, based in our office in Werkendam, the Netherlands.
  • Professional communication skills in Dutch and English (German is a plus).
  • Related work experience is a plus.
