Heat Exchanger Cleaning & Drying

Often, after cleaning or using a heat exchanger, a small amount of left over water or deposit can be found inside the tubes. This can easily be cleaned, by using foam pigs. These projectiles are oversized and can be shot through the tube by using an air pressurized piece of equipment. Because of their oversize (5-10 mm), they will automatically push out all of the water and/or loose deposits.

Furthermore, foam projectiles can be used to optimize/accelerate the drying process of a heat exchanger. Normally this drying process will take up multiple hours, depending on various factors. By using foam projectiles, you are able to speed up this process. Resulting in less down time of the system.
