With this package you can preventively and reactively clean the tubes of falling film evaporators in the (dairy) industry. The package contains various brushes and cleaning tools, with which you can clean both open and blocked tubes.

We purchased the AWT-100X from Goodway Benelux to clean falling film evaporator tubes at one of our factories. After some initial testing we were able to clean the evaporator tubes ourselves easily and effectively. The equipment is powerful and allows us to remove (harder) fouling and/or blockages inside the tubes whenever necessary. After half a year, we have decided to purchase another AWT-100X system. This one will be used to clean our firetube boilers.
We have now had the opportunity to use the AWT-100X machine we purchased from yourselves and I am glad to say it has done a great job in a difficult environment.
We tested the AWT-100X on our falling film evaporators and our employees were immediately impressed. The device is light, easy and safe to use. After a short introduction, we were able to get started with the device on our own. In addition, the support of Goodway Benelux was very polite and well prepared. After the short test phase, the device was immediately ordered.
Inner tube cleaning of evaporators
This complete package has been specially developed for the dairy industry, but can also be used in other sectors within the food industry. The package is specifically made for internal tube cleaning of falling film evaporators. These are systems with many tubes that can become contaminated and/or fully blocked over time. This contamination can become extremely hard, especially with dairy products.
Operating the system
The system consists of an air powered AWT-100X tube cleaning system. This system is easily controlled by using a foot pedal. Connect the (blue) flexible shafts with water flush to the AWT-100X. This shaft acts as the connection between the tube cleaning system and the brushes/tools. Connect the brushes or tools to the end of the blue flexible shaft. As soon as you press the foot pedal, the brush or tool will start to rotate.
Because the AWT-100X has an adjustable speed (500-3000 RPM), it is possible to rotate slowly or quickly. This is important for the type of cleaning that is being performed. For preventive cleaning of partially deposited tubes, it is not necessary to rotate very quickly. With heavily deposited and/or blocked tubes, a higher speed can be the deciding factor for a good cleaning result.
Applications within the industry
The evaporator tube cleaning package for mainly used for the internal tube cleaning of falling film evaporators. The combination of the right cleaning brushes and tools and the speed of the tube cleaning system often leads to a good cleaning result. The package can be used for both reaction and preventive cleaning jobs.
